grand Indian wedding, Ajman has the charm, capacity, and hospitality to make every occasion
unforgettable. It’s a destination that truly lets travellers unwind at their own pace, while experiencing the
warmth and spirit of Emirati culture.”
Mr. Amr Aly Morsy, while speaking to the media, said:“Our aim is not to compete with Abu Dhabi, Dubai,
or other Emirates. We are trying to differentiate ourselves as a relaxing, value-for-money destination with
easy accessibility to all other Emirates. We already welcome a healthy volume of international tourists in
Ajman’s hotels.
What sets Ajman apart is its intimate charm — a blend of authentic Emirati hospitality, pristine beaches,
and a slower pace that allows visitors to truly unwind. We want travelers to see Ajman not just as a
stopover, but as a place where they can experience culture, comfort, and convenience all in one. Our
strategy is to complement the offerings of our neighboring Emirates, while carving out our own identity as
the UAE’s boutique destination.”
He said the best season to visit Ajman is from October to mid April adding that the winter season is the
best for visiting.
Mr. Amr Aly Morsy highlighted that one of the key challenges facing Ajman’s tourism sector is the limited
capacity in its hotels. While the emirate has witnessed a steady rise in international tourist arrivals, the
number of available rooms has not always kept pace with demand, particularly during peak seasons and
major events. This creates pressure on the existing infrastructure and limits Ajman’s ability to fully
capitalize on its growing popularity as a destination. He emphasized that addressing this gap through
strategic investment in new hotels, resorts, and serviced apartments is critical, as it will not only
accommodate a larger volume of visitors but also diversify the range of offerings to meet the expectations
of different segments of travelers—from budget-conscious tourists to luxury seekers.
The year-on-year growth of tourists in Ajman has been steadily increasing,” Mr. Amr Aly Morsy noted. He
emphasized that this consistent upward trend reflects the Emirate’s growing appeal as a unique
destination in the UAE. The positive growth also demonstrates the effectiveness of Ajman’s tourism
strategies, including improved infrastructure, enhanced hospitality services, and active collaborations with
international travel partners, he added.
The roadshows featured engaging presentations, destination videos, and B2B interactions, enabling Indian
travel partners to better understand Ajman’s diverse tourist offerings. The events also offered
opportunities for direct collaboration, customised travel planning, and future partnerships that align with
both leisure and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) travel segments.
