The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Hamra Beach is delighted to announce the promotion of

John Halliday to the position of Hotel Manager. With over 28 years of extensive experience in
the hospitality industry, John brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of success

to his new role.

John’s expertise spans across various luxury hotel groups, including notable hotels such at
Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara and Desert Palm Dubai, as well as across a variety of
other luxury hotel and resort brands in the UAE, Oman, and the UK.

Having joined The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Hamra Beach in January 2023 as the

Director of Operations, John has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and
operational skills. In his previous role, he oversaw 32 private pool and beach villas, along with

all operational departments. John also played an instrumental role in achieving a prestigious
Four-Star rating in the 2024 Forbes Travel Guide for The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al

Hamra Beach.

Renowned for his focus on leadership, team development, and strategic business initiatives,
John is exceptionally well-equipped to drive growth and operational excellence in his new role
