                  Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University Welcomes Delegation


                 from Sharjah Police Science Academy to Explore the “AI Agent for

                                        Every Faculty Member” Initiative






               22 October 2025: Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) welcomed a delegation

               from the Sharjah Police Science Academy at its campus in Dubai to learn more about the

               University’s pioneering initiative, “An AI Agent for Every Faculty Member.” The initiative — the
               first of its kind in the region — aims to harness the power of artificial intelligence to enhance

               academic efficiency, enrich the learning experience, and foster institutional innovation.


               The visit came as part  of knowledge exchange efforts and the sharing of best practices in
               employing AI technologies in higher education, contributing to the UAE’s digital transformation

               journey in alignment with the UAE Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2031, the “We the UAE 2031”

               vision, and the Dubai Digital Strategy toward building a globally leading knowledge society.


               The visiting delegation included Brigadier Dr. Jamal Ahmed Al Shehhi, Head of the Delegation;
               Colonel Dr. Mohammed Ali Al Shehhi, Director of General Services Department; Major Dr. Saif

               Ahmed Khalaf Al Zaabi, Head of the Education and Graduate Studies Section; First Lieutenant Ali

               Hareb Al Mazrouei, Head of Quality Division; and Corporal Somaya Imam Al Blooshi from the

               Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Department.

               The HBMSU leadership welcomed the delegation, represented by H.E. Dr. Mansoor Al Awar,

               Chancellor of HBMSU; Prof. Ahmed Ankit, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs; Meitha Al Teneiji,

               Vice Chancellor for AI and Technology; and Ali Al Lengawy, Director of Business Development.

               Meitha Al Teneiji delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the objectives and framework

               of the initiative, highlighting its role in empowering faculty members to leverage AI tools to

               enhance teaching methodologies, improve academic performance, and  promote a culture of
