witnessed the launch of ‘UAE Future 50’ initiative. The strategic program

highlights 50 standout startups founded by Emirati entrepreneurs.

The initiative is jointly developed by the Government Development and the

Future Office in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and forms part

of the wider Riyada entrepreneurship ecosystem designed to strengthen

the UAE’s startup and innovation landscape.

The selected startups represent 15 future-focused economic sectors

considered essential for national economic diversification and resilience.

These sectors include: financial technology (fintech), health technology

(healthtech), education technology (edtech), human resources technology

(HR tech), food and agricultural technology (agri-tech), space, cybersecurity,

sustainability, renewable energy, smart mobility, advanced and creative

industries, legal technology (legal tech), and the sharing economy.

Sheikh Hamdan reaffirmed the UAE leadership’s steadfast support for

entrepreneurial empowerment, noting that Emirati innovators play a crucial

role in economic diversification, advancing emerging sectors, and

bolstering the country’s global competitiveness.
