Partners Group invested through its growth equity strategy, which applies a thematic approach to
identify investment opportunities in growth-stage companies globally. KKR made its investment

from its Asia Next Generation Technology strategy, which seeks to support the growth of innovative
companies in Asia across consumer technology, software, and FinTech, according to the statement.

Avendus Capital acted as the financial advisor and investment banker on this transaction.

Darwinbox is a mobile-first and AI-enabled human capital management platform that was founded

in 2015. The startup empowers enterprises to better manage their talent with new-age employee
experiences and AI-powered technology.

Darwinbox' cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) software caters to an organisation's

HR needs across the entire employee lifecycle. It currently serves more than 1,000 enterprises
across 130 countries. The startup has been backed by global investors including TCV, Microsoft,

Salesforce Ventures, Peak XV, Lightspeed, and Endiya Partners.

Darwinbox expanded its operations in the Middle East in 2021, with a regional office based in the

Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and plans to open its next GCC office in Saudi Arabia.

The company said that since its Middle East expansion, it witnessed a 9X growth in revenue.
