                                    Supreme Legislation Committee Statement


                                                   on Eid Al Etihad 53








               December 1, 2024 - Eid Al Etihad 53 serves as a powerful symbol of unity and cohesion among
               the Emirates. It is an opportunity to reflect on the extraordinary journey and achievements of

               our beloved nation across various sectors, guided by the vision of our wise leadership. Since the

               establishment of the Union 53 years ago, the UAE has emerged as a global leader, propelled by
               ambitious national strategies focused on sustainable development, education, and innovation.
               The UAE’s remarkable progress across diverse sectors, including the economy, culture, science,

               and legislation, has earned widespread recognition on the world stage.


               On this cherished national occasion, we pay homage to the lasting legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed
               bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, along with their fellow

               founding fathers, may their souls rest in peace. They laid the solid foundations of the UAE, which

               are  rooted  in the  principles of unity and cooperation, enabling remarkable accomplishments
               across various fields.


               At the Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai (SLC), we extend our heartfelt

               congratulations and best wishes to the UAE’s wise leadership and to all Emiratis on this cherished
               occasion. Eid Al Etihad embodies the values of unity and national belonging, while celebrating the

               exceptional progress our nation continues to achieve. We reaffirm our unwavering commitment
               to enhancing the legislative ecosystem, ensuring alignment with the vision of our wise leadership

               and the ambitious strategies of the UAE, while fulfilling the aspirations and future requirements
               of the Emirate of Dubai.
