The committee’s responsibilities include:

Approving timelines for transferring commercial control tasks to the Dubai Corporation

for Consumer Protection and Fair Trade.

Unifying and streamlining commercial control operations in local markets.
Proposing amendments to inspection procedures for The Executive Council.

Facilitating coordination and information sharing between regulatory bodies.

Resolving disputes between authorities and overseeing the implementation of the

transfer plan.

All government entities, including free zones, are mandated to fully cooperate with the
committee by providing the necessary data and support. The resolution takes effect upon

publication in the Official Gazette.
