9/29/25, 1:44 PM Amazon taps NXN’s network to expand delivery services in UAE
The partnership was revealed on the sidelines of the 28th Universal Postal Congress in Dubai.
Faster, more sustainable deliveries
The agreement will see Amazon UAE integrate NXN’s extensive infrastructure of dark stores and specialised fulfilment centres, many of
which are located in residential areas.
This will enable Amazon to store high-demand products closer to consumers, allowing for faster and more sustainable delivery while
reducing traffic congestion on major roads and cutting transport-related emissions.
di, General Manager of NXN, said, “Dark stores and specialised fulfilment centres not only help reduce delivery time
Abdulaziz Alhamma
but also reduce environmental impact and operational costs by bringing products closer to consumers.”
“This aligns with the UAE’s digital economy, transport and sustainability goals.”
“We, at NXN, strive to ensure that this infrastructure is accessible to both established enterprises like Amazon, as well as local SMEs, led by
our vision to catalyse eCommerce growth and strengthen the UAE’s position as a regional and global hub for advanced logistics services.”
Expanding customer convenience
In addition to faster home deliveries, the partnership will also expand customer choice by strengthening Amazon’s network of pick-up
points across the Emirates.
Shoppers can now select from secure, convenient locations that allow them to collect packages at their own schedule, with details
available via amazon.ae/ulp.
Ronaldo Mouchawar, Vice President of Amazon Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, said, “Leveraging the NXN network is another testament to
our commitment to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.”
“This collaboration reimagines the delivery experience through quick fulfilment hubs and a network of pick-up points, all strategically
embedded across UAE neighbourhoods.”
“Together with NXN, we are not only keeping our promises of convenience and reliability to customers but also contributing towards the
UAE’s digital economy and sustainability agendas through reduced environmental impact and smart urban planning.”
Strengthening the UAE’s logistics backbone
NXN currently operates 87 branches, 1,000 out-of-home locations, delivery points, and smart lockers nationwide.
The Amazon partnership forms part of its broader strategy to build an integrated system for sending, receiving, and storing goods,
positioning the UAE as a regional leader in digital logistics.
The collaboration also paves the way for future partnerships designed to refine delivery models, improve supply chain efficiency, and
support both multinational e-commerce players and local SMEs.
