Sheikha Fatima bint Mub arak, Mother of the Nation, has under lined the UAE's commitment
to improving the qualit y of life of the countr y's senior citizens and strengthening the family
unit, saying they are at the “forefront of our effor ts”.

Sheikha Fatima, chairwoman of the General Womenʼs Union, President of the Supreme
Council for Mother hood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family
Development Foundation, said key steps had been taken under the le adership of President

Sheikh Mohamed to bolster social welfare legislation.
