UAE attracting more entrepreneurs as SMEs account for 95 per

cent of companies operating in the country

The UAE is a thriving destination for entrepreneurs and has created a welcoming

environment to attract businesses and startups, according to a government minister.

Alia bint Abdullah Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, participated in a

session titled “The UAE’s Vision for Entrepreneurship – Future Growth Opportunities for
Local and Global Investors”, which took place at Expand North Star 2024.
