The Ministry of Economy announced the launch of the National Economic Registry "Nomu", with the aim of
providing the largest unified database for establishments and companies across the seven emirates,

merging the procedures and requirements for establishing businesses and practicing economic activities in
the country through a single national portal.

His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy said that the “Nomu” platform provides proactive
services and accurate and reliable information to a wide segment of society, including decision-makers,
businessmen, investors, entrepreneurs, research and study centers, expertise houses, and the media. Perhaps the

most prominent of these services is inquiring about data and information on any commercial license in the country
and more than 2,000 economic activities across the seven emirates, viewing investment opportunities available in
various economic sectors in the country."

“Today, the National Economic Registry links more than 46 entities in the country, and includes the national identity of
the Unified Economic Number (ERN), which is a federal number used to identify establishments and companies in
