SLC Concludes ‘Your Summer Legislation Boost

2024’ Program Focused On AI In Legislation

The General Secretariat of the Supreme Legislation Committee (SLC) in the Emirate of Dubai has
successfully concluded its third edition of the ‘Your Summer Legislation Boost 2024 Programme.’ This
year’s program, themed ‘Navigating Future Technology: AI and Legislation,’ ran for six weeks and

focused on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in legislative processes.

The program featured a series of legal workshops, panel discussions, and external events that
examined the role of modern technology, particularly AI, in shaping future legislation. Additionally, law
students from various UAE universities participated in summer internships at the SLC’s Legislation

Directorate, gaining hands-on experience in legislative drafting and analysis.
