Africa Chief

Deutsche Bank hired Majed Julfar as the head of coverage for its Middle East and
Africa region and as chief country officer for the United Arab Emirates.
The German lender said Monday that the appointment is effective immediately.
Julfar, who previously held senior roles in investment banking at Deutsche Bank, joins
from Etihad Credit Insurance.
The bank has been present in the UAE for a quarter of a century and is expanding in
the region. It recently got a new branch license in Abu Dhabi .
