Advance Sustainability

Wilo Group, a leading manufacturer and digital pioneer in the pumps industry, has ac vely par cipated in

the Young Future Energy Leaders (YFEL) program during the Sustainability Days Conference 2024. The
ini a ve, aimed at preparing future leaders to tackle global sustainability challenges, is a joint effort by
Khalifa University and the German Emira Joint Council for Industry & Commerce (AHK).

Wilo educated students and youth on smart energy and water management systems through high-profile
sessions, underscoring the company's commitment to sustainable solu ons. Highligh ng its innova ve Wilo

H2POWERPLANT, Wilo showcased its role as a frontrunner in smart water solu ons and sustainability.

The Smart Water Management market in the MENA region is projected to grow at a CAGR of 11% un l
2028, driven by water scarcity issues due to climate change, popula on growth, and socioeconomic
development. Wilo's par cipa on in the YFEL program aligns with these regional needs, emphasizing

educa on and sustainable prac ces.

During the event, Wilo took part in key panel sessions, including ‘Advancing Green Technologies for a
Decarbonised Future,’ ‘WILO H2Powerplant - A Smart Solu on for the Use of Green Energy,’ and the closing
