Trade Ties with New Agreement

Etihad Credit Insurance (ECI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Republic
of Chad to enhance economic and trade cooperation, reinforcing the UAE’s growing presence

in African markets.

The agreement was formalized during the UAE-Chad Trade and Investment Forum in Abu

Dhabi, attended by senior officials from both nations, including Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi,
UAE Minister of Foreign Trade. The MoU was signed by Raja Al Mazrouei, CEO of ECI, and

Tahir Hamid Nguilin, Chad’s Minister of Finance, Budget, Economy, Planning, and International

Cooperation.
