                 National CSR Fund – MAJRA underscores importance of adopting


                 social responsibility and sustainability disclosures by private sector


                          in driving growth and national economy sustainability





               Sarah Shaw:  We aim to boost the potential of social impact by motivating

               private sector companies to embrace sustainable practices. The UAE’s economic

               departments play a pivotal role in supporting these efforts.


                   •  The visits are part of MAJRA’s efforts to consolidate the UAE’s pioneering position in

                       social responsibility and maintain  active  partnerships with government sector

                       organisations while urging the private sector firms to adhere to national priorities.
                   •  The meetings focused on the necessity to establish clear and transparent mechanisms

                       associated with the disclosure of efforts made to achieve social impact and boost the

                       confidence of society and investors in the UAE’s business environment.

                   •  Highlighting the pivotal role of the UAE’s economic departments in promoting social
                       responsibility disclosures from the country’s private sector enterprises, which is one

                       of the key axes linked to strategic data initiatives for social responsibility.

                   •  The Social Impact Seal is the highest certificate of appreciation awarded to companies
                       that demonstrate an unwavering commitment to CSR standards in the country and

                       transparent disclosure is one of the key criteria for receiving this recognition.





               Dubai, October 29, 2024: The National CSR Fund – MAJRA conducted several visits to the UAE’s
               economic development departments in an effort to reinforce its strategies aimed to strengthen
