Trimble has announced the winners of its 2024 Tekla Global BIM Awards, recognising the most
impressive structural construc on projects u lising Tekla solu ons. The compe on, held biennially,
judged projects across eight categories, including innova on, collabora on and environmental benefits.
The Kruunuvuori Bridge in Helsinki, Finland, was named the overall 2024 winner, as well as the best
infrastructure project. This 1,200-metre-long, car-free bridge showcased extensive use of BIM so ware
and integra on, praised for its precision and project management.

In the public project category, the Sea le Aquarium Ocean Pavilion was recognised for overcoming
technical challenges in construc ng complex, shell-like designs, using Tekla Structures for
constructability analysis and installa on sequencing. The industrial project winner was Brewery Roman
in Belgium, which preserved a historic facade while expanding the facility, using Augmented Reality for
          precision.

The Al Hudayriyat Island Velodrome in the UAE won in the sports and recrea on category, with its
unique ellip cal fins and aluminium cladding. Tekla so ware enabled precise connec on design and
