“Tonight, we honour not only the winners but every participating entity for
their dedication to making our world a better place.”

This year’s awards received 122 applications across 16 categories,

representing 35 sectors from 10 Arab countries. The categories included
large and small businesses, public sector organizations, and partnerships,

showcasing the increasing diversity of sustainability efforts across industries
such as energy, construction, education, healthcare, and hospitality.

Key Trends in 2024

Al Mar’ashi highlighted key trends from this year’s cycle, particularly the

increased focus on net-zero emissions and circular economy models, as
regional governments push for aggressive climate policies. “We are

witnessing a growing commitment to tackling climate change head-on,

particularly through net-zero and circular economy initiatives,” said Al
Mar’ashi. “These organizations are leading the way in demonstrating that

sustainability is not a constraint but a driver of innovation and growth.”

She also emphasized the importance of partnerships, with 36 applications
in the collaboration category. “Sustainability is not something any of us can
