Sharjah has started work on the next phase of a major airport expansion project in the UAE.
It is the first step in a $336m airport terminal expansion expected to be completed in 2024.
Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of
Sharjah, in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of
Sharjah, laid the foundation stone for the terminal expansion project at the Sharjah
International Airport.
