                                   Under the supervision of Ministry of Sports


                   ‘UAE Committee for Talent and National Sports Support’

                   organises inaugural comprehensive talent assessment tests


                                               to identify top athletes







                   >>  His Excellency Sheikh Suhail  bin Butti  Al Maktoum:  The Committee  leverages
                   scientific and transparent evaluation mechanisms in line with international standards to
                   nurture promising talents, right from the early identification phase.


                   •  The inaugural edition of these comprehensive tests lays the foundation for an integrated
                       national system for discovering and developing sports talents.
                   •  The ‘Talent Committee platform’ received applications from 800 young athletes, among
                       whom 126 were shortlisted.

                   •  The tests included physical, psychological and cognitive evaluations to ensure fairness
                       and transparency in the selection process.
                   •  The tests  spanned  across  27 different sports  disciplines, reflecting the Committee’s
                       inclusive vision to nurture a new generation of outstanding athletes.





               UAE, 1 October 2025- The UAE Committee for Talent and National Sports Support (UAETSS)
               organised the inaugural  edition of the  comprehensive talent assessment  tests for  athletes who
               registered on the Talent Committee Platform. The assessments were held over the course of 3
               days, at the e& Academy for Sports and Leisure Club, under the supervision of the Ministry of

               Sports.


               This initiative  highlights the success of the  Talent Committee Platform,  which attracted
               applications from 800 athletes, among whom 126 promising candidates were shortlisted as test
               participants.


               His Excellency Sheikh Suhail bin Butti Al Maktoum, Assistant Undersecretary for Sports
               Development and Competitiveness Sector at the Ministry of Sports and Chairman of UAETSS,
               highlighted the role of the assessments in establishing an integrated national framework for talent
