People of determination, public service providers and valet drop-offs are all exempt from paying

When the announcement was made in December, Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, CEO and board
member of Salik, explained that the idea is to offer ‘sustainable and smart mobility solutions to
drivers in Dubai’.
He added: “Salik is ideally placed to provide this convenient customer journey, with the solution
eliminating the need for gates or barriers at Dubai Mall, helping to minimise congestion and
traffic for the customers. We are looking forward to building on the successes of this initiative
to expand the offering to other locations around the city.”
Salik already has a high user rate, with over 2 million registered active accounts and 4 million
active vehicles, which means you won’t have to download any additional apps or use payment
machines in the malls.
Salik designed and developed the new parking management system, while Dubai Mall provided
the local infrastructure, office space and car park maintenance.
