Under the new system, Zabeel and Fountain Views parking areas will remain free of

charge. For other zones, visitors will enjoy up to four hours of free parking on weekdays

and up to six hours on weekends. Beyond these times, fees will apply, ranging from Dh20

for four hours up to Dh1,000 for 24 hours.

According to Salik, the technology will leverage vehicle plate recognition to automatically

deduct parking fees from Salik user accounts, ensuring a seamless and ticketless

experience for motorists. This innovation marks a significant advancement in customer

convenience and operational efficiency at one of the world’s largest shopping destinations.

The contract for this parking payment solution will span five years, promising sustained

benefits for Dubai Mall visitors beginning next month.
