India is one of the five largest markets exporting tourism to the UAE, as the UAE received about
3.1 million Indian tourists in 2022, an increase of 900,000 visitors, compared to 2.2 million
visitors in 2021.

The UAE’s national carriers also operate daily flights to a number of Indian destinations,
including New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kerala among others. Currently, there are
approximately 1,800 flights connecting these cities with various emirates each month.
