UOS, SLC sign MoU to strengthen legal, institutional

cooperation

Sharjah24: His Excellency, Prof. Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University of
Sharjah (UoS), welcomed His Excellency, Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar Al Muhairi,
Secretary General of the Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai
(SLC), and the accompanying delegation during their visit to the University's campus.
The visit focused on strengthening and developing bilateral cooperation in the legal and
institutional fields, culminating in the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU)
aimed at fostering a partnership between the two parties in various scientific and
academic domains.

The meeting commenced with a welcoming statement by His Excellency, Prof. Hamid
M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the UoS, who underscored the significance of cooperation
between both entities. The Chancellor highlighted that the University, guided by the

directives and vision of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler
of Sharjah, and President of the University of Sharjah, prioritises community service and

strengthening collaboration with various entities and institutions.
