boost cooperation in FDI activities

ABU DHABI, 16th October, 2024 (WAM) -- Etihad Credit Insurance (ECI), the UAE Federal
export credit company, and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), an institution of
the World Bank Group, signed an agreement to expand cooperation and coordination between both
parties in driving foreign direct investments (FDI), along with co-insurance and reinsurance

activities.

The signing happened on the sidelines of the Berne Union Annual General, which commenced 15th
October in Hamburg, Germany.

By leveraging distinct records and long-standing experiences of both parties in the fields of
investment guarantees and commercial credit, the agreement establishes a framework that promotes
