Media Watchdog Files ICC Case Over Journalists’ Deaths in Gaza

Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has filed a complaint with the International Criminal Court

(ICC) regarding the deaths and injuries of Palestinian journalists in Gaza. RSF has requested

the ICC's prosecutor to investigate alleged war crimes committed by the Israeli army against at
least nine journalists since December 15. The complaint includes the cases of eight journalists

killed between December 20 and May 20, and one injured. RSF argues that these journalists

were deliberately targeted, which constitutes an attack on the public's right to information. The

ICC is currently probing potential crimes against journalists, with over 100 reporters killed

        during the Gaza war.
