Expert surgeons at Saudi German Hospital (SGH) Dammam have successfully performed
a delicate surgery to relieve a patient from years of chronic pain caused by a large kidney
stone. The stone, located in a challenging position within the patient’s right kidney, was
skillfully removed by the hospital’s top surgeons.
The surgical team first conducted a ureteropyelography, a detailed imaging study of the
ureter and kidney using a radiopaque substance, to accurately visualize the blockage. This
