La Magistrature To Enhance Legal And Judicial Collaboration

The Dubai Judicial Institute (DJI) has entered into a new phase of international legal cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding
(MoU) with the Institut Supérieur de la Magistrature of the Kingdom of Morocco. The agreement is aimed at deepening collaboration in judicial training,
legal research, and capacity-building across both institutions.

The MoU was formalised during a virtual signing ceremony attended by Her Excellency Judge Dr. Ebtessam Ali Al Badwawi, Director General of DJI,
and H.E. Judge Abdelhanine Touzani, Director General of Morocco’s Superior Judicial Institute.

        Strengthening Bilateral Legal Ties

This strategic partnership will pave the way for:

Joint training programmes and specialised seminars in legal and judicial disciplines
Exchange of academic resources, including books, periodicals, and research publications

Field visits and study exchanges aimed at institutional capacity-building and judicial empowerment

In her remarks, Judge Dr. Ebtessam Ali Al Badwawi highlighted the importance of international collaboration in legal education:
“At the Dubai Judicial Institute, we are committed to building meaningful partnerships with judicial training institutions across the Arab world. This MoU with
Morocco’s Institut Supérieur de la Magistrature allows us to establish a framework for bilateral cooperation that will elevate judicial training standards and
foster the exchange of legal knowledge between our countries.”
Judge Abdelhanine Touzani echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the shared vision of both entities:

“This agreement reflects our mutual dedication to joint institutional development and legal knowledge-sharing. We look forward to co-developing advanced
training frameworks that will benefit judicial professionals in both Morocco and the UAE.”

        Advancing Judicial Excellence Across Borders

The MoU forms part of DJI’s broader strategy to expand its regional network of partnerships, contributing to a judicial ecosystem that is collaborative,
knowledge-driven, and future-ready. The initiative aligns with Dubai’s vision of establishing an advanced, transparent, and globally integrated legal
system capable of meeting evolving legal challenges.
