ADNO C announce d, to day, it has awarde d a contract , value d at more than $400 MM, to Baker Hughes, through its Nuovo Pignone
International S.R.L. le gal entity, for the supply of all-ele ctric compression systems for the liquefaction of natural gas, to b e p owere d by clean
energy, for its low-carb on LNG asset in the Al Ruwais Industrial City, Al Dhafrah, Abu Dhabi. The LNG trains will comprise energy e cient
Baker Hughes te chnolo gy, including compressors, driven by 75 MW ele ctric motors.

The Ruwais LNG plant will b e the ¸rst LNG proje ct in the Middle East and North Africa re gion to run on clean p ower, making it one of the
lowest carb on intensity LNG facilities in the world.
Fatema Al Nuaimi, Exe cutive Vice President , Downstream Business Management at ADNO C, said: “As the ¸rst clean ele ctricity p owere d
LNG facility in the Middle East , the Ruwais LNG proje ct reinforces ADNO C’s leadership within the LNG industry and underscores our
commitment to de carb onization, sustainability and innovation. The proje ct aligns with ADNO C’s obje ctives to grow our energy p ortfolio with
lower-carb on solutions, reinforcing our p osition as a reliable global supplier of natural gas and contributing to enhancing global energy
        se curity.”

The Ruwais LNG proje ct consists of two 4.8 mtpa natural gas liquefaction trains with a total capacity of 9.6 mtpa of LNG. When complete d,
it will more than double ADNO C’s LNG pro duction target capacity to me et increase d global demand for natural gas.

The award of the contract underscores ADNO C’s commitment to accelerate its net zero ambition and de carb onization plans. It is an
imp ortant milestone as the company builds on its le gacy as a resp onsible global energy pione er and doubles down on its de carb onization
e orts, backe d by an initial allo cation of $15 billion (AED55 billion) to low-carb on solutions.
