UAE Council for Fatwa organises 'Al Shawwaf

emirates7 -Under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan,

Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, the
UAE Council for Fatwa is preparing to host the “Al Shawwaf Forum” dedicated to

crescent sighting.

Scheduled for February 17 on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, the event will bring
together prominent experts, key stakeholders, and national institutions, alongside

international entities specializing in Islamic jurisprudence, astronomy, and legal affairs.

The forum aims to foster meaningful discussions and engagements on the subject.
