Greece To Host Second Edition Of Investopia Global –

Mediterranean In 2026, UAE And Greece Strengthen Economic Ties

H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Chairman of Investopia, and H.E. Olga Kefalogianni, Greek Minister of Tourism,
have jointly announced that Greece will host the second edition of Investopia Global – Mediterranean in 2026. The decision comes after the
resounding success of the event’s inaugural edition held in Cyprus, which attracted high-level participation from the UAE, Lebanon, Cyprus,
Greece, and other European nations.

The 2026 edition will be jointly organized by government entities from both the UAE and Greece, along with Investopia’s strategic partners.
The event aims to foster deeper cooperation across key sectors of the new economy, particularly tourism, innovation, entrepreneurship, digital
infrastructure, renewable energy, and food security.

Strengthening Mediterranean Partnerships

H.E. Bin Touq emphasized the strategic and historic relations between the UAE and Greece, especially in economic and investment spheres,
supported by the leadership of both nations.

“The Mediterranean region holds immense potential with its competitive economies and investment-friendly sectors such as tourism, AI,
logistics, and renewable energy,” he said. “Investopia Global – Mediterranean in Greece will create new bridges between public and private
sectors, advancing future-focused partnerships.”

A Milestone For UAE-Greece Cooperation

Greek Minister of Tourism H.E. Olga Kefalogianni highlighted the event’s significance as a testament to the deepening ties between the two
countries.

“Hosting the second edition in Greece reflects our growing and diversified economic relationship with the UAE. The event will enhance
synergies between our business communities and strengthen cooperation in shared areas of interest,” she stated.
