DGHR expands ‘Our Flexible Summer’ to all govt entities

Dubai: The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has announced the official

implementation of the ‘Our Flexible Summer’ initiative across all Dubai Government entities from 1 July to
12 September 2025, following the success of its 2024 pilot phase.

This initiative, which each entity may apply at its discretion, aims to enhance work-life balance, boost

productivity, and promote employee well-being.

The 2024 pilot was trialed across 21 government entities, where results showed higher productivity, better
work environments, and employee satisfaction levels reaching up to 98 percent. Evaluations under the

Dubai Government Excellence Program also reflected improved institutional performance in participating
bodies.

Aligned with the ‘Year of Community’, the initiative marks a strategic move to reinforce family bonds and
a cohesive society, while ensuring an agile and efficient government system. The flexible work structure

promotes a supportive atmosphere that benefits both employees and the broader community.
