The United Arab Emirates has achieved a remarkable milestone in foreign trade, recording
AED 5.23 trillion (US$ 1.424 trillion) in 2024, marking a 49% growth from AED 3.5 trillion in
2021.
This surge, highlighted in the World Trade Organization’s (WTO) “World Trade Outlook and
Statistics” report, underscores the UAE's strategic economic vision and reinforces its
position as the leading trade hub in the Middle East and Africa since 2014, and among the
top 20 global trade centers.
