UAE civil aviation sector tops global rankings
The UAE has ranked number one in the world for quality of air transport infrastructure
and achieved top place in the MENA region for other aviation indicators.
The UAE emerged as a leader in various global competitiveness indicators within the
civil aviation sector, according to the recently launched World Economic Forum’s Travel
and Tourism Development Index (TTDI) 2024.
The country ranked first worldwide in the “Quality of Air Transport Infrastructure”
indicator, and the third globally in both the “Efficiency of Air Transport Services” and
