The highly anticipated 'Middle East LPG Expo - Saudi Arabia 2024' was officially announced during
a press conference at the Crown Hotel Riyadh Palace. Scheduled for September 10 & 11, 2024, the
expo aims to elevate the global Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) landscape by bringing together
over 2000 industry experts and more than 70 exhibitors from 25 countries.

Supported by Saudi Arabia’s Oil Sustainability Program and the World Liquid Gas Association as
Strategic Partners, and hosted by GASCO, the event highlights the importance of the LPG industry
in the region. Mohammed Abdulrahman Al-Ibrahim, Assistant Minister of Energy (Oil and Gas), will
serve as the Guest of Honour, underscoring the strong governmental support for the event.
Jeffrey Leung, Director at LPG Expo, expressed excitement about the upcoming event, stating, “We
are pleased to announce the Middle East LPG Expo - Saudi Arabia 2024 and extend our cordial
invitation to everyone. Leveraging our long-standing industry expertise, we aim to create world-
class platforms for meaningful collaboration within the industry.”
The expo's theme, "LPG as Clean and Sustainable Energy for Life," reflects a commitment to
promoting LPG as a sustainable energy source, particularly in developing countries. An
international conference will feature discussions on local and regional industry-specific topics, with
speakers from over 20 countries, including the US, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Ahmed Al-Shammari, GM of marketing and communications at National Gas and Industrialization
Co (GASCO), highlighted GASCO's role as the Host Sponsor and announced an MOU signing
ceremony between the Oil Sustainability Program and GASCO to fund clean cooking initiatives in
developing countries.
