The Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre - Abu Dhabi (ADCMC) has initiated its
Coordination and Monitoring Centre in Al Ain. This move aims to enhance the emirate's emergency
readiness and response capabilities. It also seeks to improve coordination with strategic partners
               and various stakeholders.

Dr. Abdulla Hamarain Al Dhaheri, Executive Director of the Response and Recovery Sector at
ADCMC, stated, "The launch of the Coordination and Monitoring Centre in Al Ain region marks a key
strategic milestone in reinforcing the emirate’s crisis preparedness framework. It aligns with the
Abu Dhabi government’s vision of developing an integrated, advanced and effective emergency
management system. Our approach is proactive, built on close collaboration with key stakeholders
to ensure the highest levels of field coordination and readiness for all possible scenarios."

The new centre in Al Ain is crucial for ADCMC's strategic expansion plan. It serves as a vital support
infrastructure to the main operations centre in Abu Dhabi. This facility will enable quicker response
times and more efficient local decision-making during emergencies.
Al Dhaheri highlighted that the Al Ain Coordination Centre is integral to a broader strategy aimed at
boosting institutional resilience and speeding up response capabilities. He stressed that effective
field coordination is essential for any successful emergency management system.
