DUBAI: On the

opening day of the Airport Show 2025, Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects (DAEP)

awarded a landmark contract to Smiths Detection for the installation of advanced
checkpoint screening systems at Dubai International Airport (DXB).

The multi-year agreement will see state-of-the-art HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX Model-S

scanners rolled out across Terminals 1, 2, and 3, bringing cutting-edge technology to

the world’s busiest international airport.

These next-generation scanners offer 3D, high-resolution imaging and are equipped

with integrated automatic object recognition through iCMORE software. One of the key
