The successful agricultural model of Below Farm, takes center stage in the fifth
season of ‘World’s Coolest Winter’ campaign, launched under the theme ‘Green
               Tourism.’

The initiative is a collaboration between the Ministry of Economy, the National
Agricultural Center, and local tourism authorities.

The campaign aims to promote community engagement in sustainable farming
practices and encourage visits to agricultural projects like Below Farm.

This effort aligns with the UAE's domestic tourism strategy, launched by His
Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime
Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The strategy seeks to develop an integrated tourism ecosystem across the nation,
               emphasizing sustainability and innovation.

Below Farm succeeded in cultivating specialty mushrooms including Oyster, King
Oyster, Shiitake and Lion’s Mane Mushrooms, in four chambers that offer a
favorable environment for cultivating mushrooms that require cool, damp, and dark
               conditions.

The company overcame the challenge of high temperatures in the UAE’s desert by
establishing a farm made up of climate-controlled chambers, insulated to keep
               temperatures cool.

Below Farm has also applied innovative technologies to control light, temperature
and humidity levels, creating the favorable conditions ideal for cultivating
               mushrooms.

In addition to offering high quality mushrooms, Below Farm is committed to
sustaining the environment by recycling date palm frond waste from farms in the
UAE into the specialized mass on which the mushroom grows.

The UAE, known for fostering an innovation-friendly environment, continues to
               attract leading agricultural innovation companies.
