Innovative wind-resistant spraying techniques have also been implemented,
resulting in around a 30 percent water saving.

Sustainable groundwater and rainwater drainage systems utilised by the

municipality have proven effective during recent rainfall.

As part of beautification efforts, multi-colour linear lighting has been installed.

Additionally, ‘Chorisia’ trees are being planted for the first time in Dubai –

these belong to the mallow family and feature large pink-red flowers.

The project design has been inspired by the patterns of horse hoof prints,

combining elements of wild nature with ornamental plants.

To further enhance aesthetic appeal, diverse evergreen tree species have been

planted.

“Dubai Municipality prioritises the development of agricultural beautification

projects with a primary goal of enhancing the ever-renewing vitality of Dubai
according to integrated world-class standards, in addition to fostering

sustainability in Dubai by actively implementing innovative irrigation

technologies that rely on fully recycled water,” Dubai Municipality Director

General Dawoud Al Hajri said.
