Dubai Municipality issues guidance for businesses on single use plastics ban

DUBAI (WAM)
Dubai Municipality (DM) published additional guidance for businesses on the single use
plastics ban that was issued in January.
The issuance came following a resolution by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin
Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.
The resolution was introduced to protect the environment by minimising plastic waste
through changing consumer habits and fostering a culture of recycling among
