Dubai Municipality secure first win at NAS

The wheelchair basketball event at the 11th NAS Sports Tournament, currently being
held at the Dubai Club for People of Determination, witnessed great excitement with
thrilling pool matches taking the centerstage on the second day.

The encounter between Roads and Transport Authority and Dubai Municipality was one
of the strongest matches in the tournament so far, and it witnessed cheers from fans in
the Dubai Club for People of Determination halls after Dubai Municipality overturned a
14-21 deficit in the first period to eventually win the match.

Dubai Municipality eventually won the match by a point difference of 41-40 in Group A,
thanks to the brilliance of Muhammad Al-Zarouni, Walid Shahat, Youssef Saudi, Rashid
Al-Zeyoudi and Ahmed Al-Shehhi.

It was also the first victory for the Municipality after losing the first match to the Federal
Authority for Identity and Citizenship in Dubai, while the road team lost for the second
time in the group after losing to Dubai Police in the first round.
