His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai

and Chairman of the Executive Council, has launched a programme to support Emirati
farmers.

The Dubai Farms initiative, to be run by Dubai Municipality, is a commitment to advancing

sustainable agriculture across Dubai and will help subsidise farming supplies, provide farming
consultation services and pest control services among other offerings.

“Today we launched the ‘Dubai Farms’ programme to support productive Emirati farmers, by offering

them a full suite of incentives and services that support the development of the emirate’s agriculture
sector and enhance the sustainability of crops, all leading to enhanced contribution to the emirate’s
