Welcome to MOTORI NG
This is not an April Fool's joke, although our
first issue has come out on April 1st. There are high
hopes for this new digital magazine focused on the
Offerings people and activities of the Nashville British Car
Club. The purpose is to increase the existing
sense of community between long time members
Drive in Style, page 3 while opening the door wide to participation by
new members. We'll do that by sharing the stories
Excursions, page 4 of the cars and the enthusiasts that make up the
membership.
Life with the Rileys, page 5
What can you expect from Motoring each month?
Motorsport News, page 6 Within its pages you'll find personality features
about our members as well as club history and news.
Art on the Bonnet, page 7
There will be articles about the history of British
Living History, page 8 motor cars and their storied development, lots of
event photos, a "for sale" section, and
recommendations for goods and services used in
maintaining and caring for your British car to a high
standard--all derived from people who are doing
exactly that. Video will also make an appearance. As
people get more involved in making Motoring their
own, the scope and depth of the content will also
increase.
( And, we'll even have a little fun each issue with
our "Where's Winston?" --seek, find and receive a
special prize-- game for the first finder each month.)
Motoring is a magazine about you and for you.
Your stories and input are not only welcome, they're
encouraged. We'll put the Best of Britain in our
pages and we'll work to make each issue something
you'll look forward to seeing arrive on its publication
date of the first day of each month.
Where's Winston? Let's get started.
What could be more symbolic of Britain than
the tenacious English Bulldog, fully capable of
holding on but in most cases maintaining a
high degree of decorum? Locate Winston ( in Editor
much smaller form) in our pages. Then send Cherie Beatty
your name and his location to 931-294-3020
