between aquatic therapy and mermaiding, “The Orlando Mermaid” (@theorlandomermaid) is
making waves by advocating what the mermaid symbol represents in her very own hometown and
offering Orlando’s first service for Orlando Mermaid Tours! Applied Mermaid is operated & founded
by Cheryl Pastrana @cherylpastrana. Cheryl is a certified water safety instructor who offers Applied
Mermaid Swim Lessons.
Here at “The Mer Bubbles Secret Headquarters” (that’s not so secret anymore), you can now order
the “Mermaid Birthday Suit.” (Just in case you didn’t know, your mermaid birthday is the day your
first tail ever touched water.) This green bling transformation bodysuit, inspired by the colors of
Florida Springs, can be used underwater or on land.
We will donate a portion to the Florida Springs Institute and Save the Manatee Club for every
purchase. These two organizations are advocating, educating, & protecting our state’s natural
aquatic environments and wildlife where manatees (the original mermaids) reside. Thank you Fins
