Provok’d: A Restoration
How is restoration comedy relevant today? And what might its intricate and dazzling
speeches have in common with rap? Guildhall School devised this anarchic 2019
production, directed by Jamie Bradley with choreography by Uchenna Dance’s Vicki
Igbokwe, which explores gender, race and politics. It’s streaming online for free until
15 May and can be watched in 360° VR.
