               mimicry of the conductor is such that it takes us a long time to notice that we don't hear the
               score in English as it remains in osmosis with the very British experience of Handel's
               masterpiece. So goes Marriner, faithful to an unmistakable style that he patiently built and to
               which he has always remained faithful. An incomparable moment, in terms of its choices and
               its limitations, in the history of interpretation in the twentieth century  century.
