               The last time I saw the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields chamber orchestra
               perform, it was more than a decade ago. The London-based ensemble finished its
               concert with Haydn’s famed “Farewell Symphony,” musicians leaving the stage one
               by one to wind down the sound.

               Friday night in Steinmetz Hall at the Dr. Phillips Center in downtown Orlando, the
               orchestra created theatrics of a different kind with a rousing program that saw
               music director Joshua Bell light up the stage as soloist on Brahms’ Violin Concerto
               in D major.
