The Atlanta Opera (Atlanta, Georgia, USA) presents the third annual 96-Hour Opera Festival,
celebrating the inspiration and talent of underrecognized, emerging creatives with a new works
competition and a world premiere performance. The competition pairs composers and librettists
to write ten-minute operas and vie for a $10,000 grand prize and a commission to create a one-
act opera for The Atlanta Opera. The world premiere performance brings the completed work
from past winners to the stage. The world premiere of Forsyth County is Flooding by Marcus
Norris and Adamma Ebo is staged and livestreamed on Saturday, June 15 at 8pm EDT (US). An
exciting display of five new mini-operas in competition is staged and livestreamed on Monday,
