The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra has revealed its 2024/25
programme for Barrow.
After an impressive inaugural season in Barrow, the renowned orchestra
unveiled an array of upcoming performances.
Included in the line-up is the return of chief conductor Domingo
Hindoyan for a celebration of Beethoven, and a collaborative
performance featuring renowned sitar player Jasdeep Singh Degun
accompanied by Barrow schoolchildren.
The programme is backed by Arts Council England.
The three-year partnership between Barrow and the UK's oldest
orchestra aims to expand access to world-class orchestral music to Arts
Council England Priority Place, Barrow.
The initiative will also introduce a series of educational programmes, in
conjunction with the Liverpool Philharmonic's learning team and Cumbria
Music Education Hub.
Liverpool Philharmonic's chief executive, Michael Eakin, expressed delight
over the positive response from Barrow audiences.
