A TALENTED young conductor from North Wales is following in the footsteps of
his musical hero Sir Simon Rattle.

Robert Guy, 36, from Wrexham, says he’s hugely honoured to be appointed as
conductor of the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra where Sir Simon, the
legendary classical conductor, started out as a young percussionist.
